Is surely a horse to follow next year. Have always liked this horse, and what a great run today on only his 5th start. Had he not been injured how different this season may of been. Going to make a cracking 4yr old.

But for this season next stop is the Champion Stakes.

Should make the Champion Stakes interesting if he turns up there. Stablemate Doctor Fremantle may join him so Moore may have a decision to make again.

I backed him at 16's E/W on the Wednesday, so only needed him not to finish last in order for a winner!

Gave them all a scare for sure!

Will make a nice 4 year old.

Glad I have backed him for the Breeders Cup, as connections have warned they may miss the Champion in favour of a tilt in America.

"It's under discussion and we will probably decide by next weekend," Teddy Grimthorpe, owner Prince Khalid Abdullah's racing manager, said yesterday. "Going up to a mile and a quarter in the Champion Stakes is unknown territory, and the Mile is run on turf and is a serious race.

"He has an advantage in that he has not got many miles on the clock, so he is a fresh horse, which should be a benefit to him,".

Connections are skipping the Champion for a crack at the Breeders Cup Mile. Which makes me very happy having backed him for it.
