Welcome

Nacarat
Nacarat is due to make his sesonal reappearance in the William Hill Golp Cup at Exeter on November. In preperation for a tilt at the King George.

Tom George said  "Nacarat is A1. He has been back in full work since July and is looking good. I am very happy with him at this stage, and his major goal will be the King George."
Nacarat
good stuff, hope he romps home at Exeter.
Anything to make Kauto's price more attractive on Boxing Day.... xlol
Nacarat
Ignore this chap at your peril, as highlighted in my Anti Post thread, a decent animal, who thrives on a flat track!
Nacarat
I agree with Brownie, he is a good animal that could give KS a fright come christmas time. Maybe a rev f/c might be the way to go?

SP

xcool
Nacarat
don't waste half your bet SP....
straight forecast only.

he's got Madison Du Berlais to beat for 2nd seemingly.
Nacarat
on that today run he's more likely to be in a handicap chase at Plumpton than anywhere near the might Kauto....

As I said before Aintree - a handicapper at best.
Nacarat
Nah, something amiss there, he stopped far to quickly, he was up there enjoying himself, then out of gas within yards.

Think your been very unkind to a horse who hosed up in the RP Chase.
Nacarat
I was kinda joking kinda serious Brownie. I posted a few other notes on him yesterday, and have said before that he was indeed hugely impressive in the Racing Post chase (will be interesting to see in a month or two how that form worked out), then ran a good race against better animals (miles better than anything he faced yesterday) at Aintree.
I just think he's a good handicapper, nothing more.
Nacarat
two things i thought about his run yesterday -

1 - 2 miles is far too short for him
2 - something was definitely amiss the way he went out after entering the home run, especially given that Twist Magic "stayed on" into 3rd, a horse that is known only to run well on the sharpest of 2 mile tracks.
Nacarat
I think it was 2m 2f yesterday, and on a stiff track. In the RP chase they said before they didn't know if he would stay, so they told McCoy to just go out there in front and find out if he stayed. So I think it's not quite accurate to say he is a 3m horse. Apart from the RP chase he's been exclusively campaigned at shorter distances.

The next 4 home that day were Possol, Big Fella Thanks, Hold Em and Ollie Magern. Maybe he didn't beat much??

I think he is a 2m 4f horse, so yesterdays distance shouldn't be the excuse. I think it is more likely that something went amiss physically as suggested by Brownie, or that he just isn't as good as we thought back in March.
