Pompey's takeover has been rocked by further allegations that prospective owner Dr Sulaiman Al-Fahim isn't quite all that he seems.
Truebluearmy.com can exclusively reveal he is not a respected Arab businessman at all.
Instead the football world will be rocked to its core at the revelation that he is none other than...
... Max, half of Peter Kay's comic duo creation 'Max and Paddy'.
This is the latest line in a number of controversial episodes to bedevil the takeover of the club.
It seemed like Pompey and their fans could look forward to a bright future when news of Al Fahim's intended takeover was made public at the end of May.
However this latest scandal could be the final nail in the coffin of the deal. Truebluearmy.com has passed its damning dossier to Fleet Street's finest.
Expect it on your back pages tomorrow. It's closer to the truth than much we've seen of late...
What a deal Pompey have got on the Glen Johnson transfer - £18.5 million!!!!!! Almost £20 million for a defender who as 'The Times' say 6 months ago was valued at only £8.5 million!
I've always thought that at his very best he is quite decent but in my opinion he is far too prone to making costly mistakes to justify such a sum.
Liverpol have offset a large sum they were still owed by Portsmouth for Peter Crouch (reportedly £7m) and that has been included in Johnson's "price". Haven't watched him closely for more than a year, but was showing signs of steady improvement under Redknapp at Pompey, so guess this has continued as he is England's 1st choice Right Back under Capello. Nevertheless this is a lot of money for a defender.
Great business for Pompey, but would make me very nervous. If this guy is taking us over we shouldn't have the need to sell him. Unless he requested it.
'The Sun' have run a mocking piece on Portsmouth's takeover today calling the whole episode 'Pompeygate'.
They say that 'Dr' Sulaiman isn't a real Doctor and that he isn't the real force behind the bid either that is the German moneybags, Holger Heims. They also state that reports about Takshin Shinawatra and Dave Richards (Premier League Chairman) being involved won't go away.
And they say that Roberto Mancini is the warm favourite to get the manager's job.
Its due to be completed in the next few days. If anything was going to be thrown up by the DD it would of by now. The Sun have always hated Pompey. Snobs.
They think we thought he was a Doctor, we already knew it is just a nickname.
