A a tv supporter now rather than a travelling supporter ( I feel I paid my dues under Rednapp) I was not surprisd at the subdued atmosphere reffered to by Zola yesterday. There is obvious concern that the best players will be sold as the tevez affair lingers on and upset that Bellamy (more later) had effectively walked out on the club and I think it would cause the atmosphere even after the first goal went in. It is a credit to the players that they, once Neill realised tackling outside the area is permissible too, raised their game and played some super stuff in beating a below par defensive wise Fulham. ( West Ham to win/Defoe to score double was a nice little earner and a nicer treble if Stevie Two foot scores tonight for liverpool).

On Bellamy, it is hard to say too much nice stuff about him as he has caused trouble or appeared to cause trouble wherever he has gone. To walk out on West Ham after only 22 games  and a long time out due to injury seems wrong but does not unduly bother me as it was always a matter of time with him. ( Still not over Di Canio being forced out by that a88e Roeder though). One thing I could say positive for him is that in the games I have seen him play (a lot due to Sky/setanta of late) he gives 100% for the team he is playing but if wants out, out he must go.

Looking forward to the Cup replay tonight at Boro. Will have jobs done, beers at the ready  etc etc to enjoy seeing my team play their hearts out to progress to the 6th round..

Rumours that it was played last night are surely wrong as my team did not turn up.

Arkle, thanks for last night. We needed a win badly and hopefully that will spur us on to better things!

West Ham are as big as 7/10 in some places for tonights game at home to West brom.... I speak as someone who gets burnt my such dabbles with my favourite team but that price looks good to put in doubles and  trebles with fancies of your own.

Apparently the premiership is the best in the world. My team are 7th. My team played crap tonight. My team play crap most times i see them. My team puts out a forward line I  honestly think I would star in. My team could not string a pass together. My team had no shot on target against the bottom team in the divsion. My team showd no heart, passion or skill. My team are 7th. Apparently the premiership is the best in the world.

Nearly a day later I think I have regained my normal calmish self. There really has been some football tripe on TV this season, too many games to mention but, and whilst Football is only a game,  last night was truly dire and possibly the worst yet. Easy passes given to the opposition, passes to feet miscontrolled and going out for throw-ins, shots from impossible angles, rushed freekicks in attacking positions that ended up with our goalie. It was like watching schoolboys play and that is an insult to schoolboy matches. I know I lost out in the pocket but that is a normal practise, but my anger was more than that and was related to Footballers not appearing to care.

i`ll be honest and say except for the champions league im sick of watching the dross of the premiership...i watch the 6 nations rugby and then watch the football and quite honestly its embarrassing...the faking of injuries, the somersaults and rolls, the berating of officials.....its driven me away from the game.and how anyone can pay up to £55 to watch a game!!!...must need there heads tested!!!

Off yesterday and 1/2 watched West Ham play Spurs. Truly awful and spineless. Spurs should have buried us.

Can we put back the start of the season for say......2 years.

Credit where credit due. After playing like a bag of bob for the first hour or so, they really did deserve to get the 2-2 draw today against Arsenal.

Had 11/10 too at HT that they would score too.
