I was going to post an "any thoughts" thread myself
Ventura was definitely one that jumped out at me aswell, but at 5/4 that doesn't take a genius.
Surely we should concentrate on the UK horses in the "marathon" ? How many races do the Yanks have over such extreme trips?
Given Gosden's record I wonder if he can get a win out of Rainbow View, just when we least expect it....
Can't wait for the action to begin, and I'll be opposing Forever Together in the Turf, for me Midday is a cracking bet, espically at the US odds, where the morning line SP is 4's (7/4 at Lads).
Ventura is a classy horse, but not a great draw, I've backed Informed Decision at 11/4, already beaten the Jolly this season. But should be between those 2, and i'm not totally convinced Ventura will struggle from the Car park draw.
Mastery is the banker on day 1, should have enough to beat Father Time.
Lillie Langtry should go close in the Juv Turf, trip and ground conditions will be ideal.
E/W Treble
Lillie Langtry 3/1
Midday (US Pool)

Well the Pools are not open till later in the day, works the same as the tote.
The US have whats called the Morning line odds, which is basically a forecast price. As soon as the draw took place on Wednesday, they published the morningline prices. _________________ I bet Jamie is the only one in the Spencer household that gives a bad ride!
