One nil up, and 6/7 minutes to go.Went for a cuppa and a kitkat. Phone rang. 3-1 down by time I got back to watching Sky Saturday.
Never has a tea tasted so bitter.

Its not looking good for the 'Ammers is it, OnlyOne, old boy?
My cousin is also a fan of them and he's preaching nothing but doom and gloom. Possibilities ahead could be there best players being sold in January, administration looming unless a Sugar Daddy is found, a relegation battle on the horizon and the first huge club to go bust.
Still at least they've got an experienced, battle hardened, tough manager to steer them through the difficult times ahead...oh, crickey, hold on! |

Your 2nd para says it all and todays players need little excuse to underform and will point to the uncertainty to illustrate their results.
I am now happier that the results do not affect me as much as they used to. I recall the day I had Ray Millands lost weekend when throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to Everton in the 90s.
Made me laugh though as my boy has still to understand its only a game.....took me thirty odd years and Glenn Roeders appoinment to finally convince me. |

Typical. I back my team nearly every time they play.
Hovered over the bet yesterday at around 5/2 then thought, save my money, and hope for a draw.
I thought we were slightly fortunate that a foul was not given (and possible repercussions as last man) for the infringement outside the box between Collins and Cisses and also fortunate that a centre forward cannot head a ball properly but other than that were worth all three points. (Andy Grays disdain for the poor quality of the headers was not hidden. Derek Dougan and Andy Lockhead, both Leicester legends, would be in their element nowadays)
I now look at the table and think what could have been if we had held on to leads Vs Everton and Boro respectively. |

Forever and ever.
We'll follow my team.
We're West Ham United .
We rule supreme.
Amazing what three clean sheets will do to a fickle fan. |

Fickle thy name is football fan.
A truly shocking gutless display. Where are the goals to come from?
Apparently we are to sell our best players in January....struggling to pick a half decent one after last night. |

Haven't they just given Carlton Cole and Freedie Sears new 5 year contracts? That's where it appears they think the goals are going to come from.
But when they did this bit of business I was amazed, OnlyOne old boy, as aren't they supposed to be almost almost broke??? |

I am currently waiting for somebody to explain to me the merit of a 5 year contract to Cole. I cannot fault his effort but he is a player who makes me want to get my boots on again.
Faubert is another who should be in a job typing this whilst i try on the extra large new home kit ahead of a visit to Chelsea. As for Lucas neill...I just don't get it fullstop.
January will be interesting as we will then discover our real financial position when we see the "stars" sold. If last night was the shop window methinks the income won't be over great.
Forever and ever........
