any tennis experts out there who can tell me if the draw for the US Open is likely to pitch Federer (#1 seed) against Nadal (#3) at the semi final stage this year?
Being a proud Scot I should hope for this to allow our boy an easier passage to the final, but I can't honestly see him winning it, especially if he has to beat both the big two.

If the draw puts 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 then I think a big bet on Federer is required, with a lay off in running. But if Fed is to play Nadal in the semi then I'd be less inclined to lump on.

Is this decided/known in advance?
