Based on the old cliche that even a broke clock is right twice a day i feel a bit on form.

I really do fancy the Scottish to beat Holland and really hope Northern Ireland beat Slovakia. Looking for the third leg for a treble and am tempted with heskey to score at any time,

I will never ever forget 1978 when Scotland beat the Dutch and:

1. they did beat holland under Vogts at home in a play off a few years ago.
2. Holland have qualified.
3. Fervent Hampden roar.

Okay.....they might not win but it would be fantastic if they did.

Now Heskey scoring......

You have to feel sorry for Burley. Its not him missing the gilt edged chances.

You also have to feel sorry for Heskey. His workrate is tremendous and he creates so much space for others but put him in front of goal with my money on him at 12/5 to score and he blows it consistently.

I feel sorry for myself. Had the Germans stayed at 3-0, I would have collected £800.

Heskey should have scored at least one.

Scotland could actually have won on another day. But it's their own fault they didnt even make the play offs. Norway are awful and they made it.

Looking to the play offs.... and who Ireland will get, assuming we make it (need one win or two draws from the last two games, home to Italy and Montenegro). Italy will surely win the group, even if they lose at Croke Park they only need to beat Cyprus at home to finish top. Gonna be some dodgy teams in the play offs. Only 8 second-place teams make it through out of 9, I challenge anyone to work out who might not make it! Results against the bottom team in each group are discounted due to Gp 9 only having 5 teams, and the second place team with the lowest total is out! Headache?

Did not post it but thought the 2s available on there being a penalty in the Arsenal match looked big.

23/10 for a similar event in the celtic match is also worth a look.
