THE first foal outof star hurdler Solerina, a yearling colt by Definite Article, will be offered for sale at the Goffs December National Hunt Sale, which runs from December 8 to 10.

Solerina became a public favourite during four years on the track for the Bowe family, capturing 22 of 40 starts including three consecutive renewals of the Hatton's Grace Hurdle. The daughter of Toulon also ran fourth in the 2004 Stayers' Hurdle to Iris's Gift.

Final entries are now being taken for the Goffs December Sale, which features foals, yearlings, older horses and breeding stock
