Hello all,

The return of one of the two Cheltenham ante post competitions is upon us. The rules are fairly simple. You have £200 to split over four selections, maximum bet is £170, minimum bet is £10. You can do win singles, each way singles, and straight forecasts. If you are doing single bets you may take the best current ante post price that you can find (oddschecker.com) is probably your best bet.

If any of your selections is subsequently a non runner, then you lose the bet, as you would with any normal ante post bet.

You have until the last moments of January to make your four selections.

P.S. If anyone can remember the format of the other ante post Cheltenham comp we did last year, just drop me a pm and I'll set it up to take place in Feb.

My choices with maximum potential profit based on bookies offering quarter odds for each way:

Royal SunAlliance: Breedsbreeze £20 ew @ 12/1    £340

World Hurdle - Lough Derg £10 ew @ 33/1             £432.50

Champion Hurdle - Sizing Europe £20 ew @ 16/1    £440

Gold Cup - Denman £100 win @ 7/4                        £275

Maximum Potential Total Profit:                               £1487.50
