I will set up a Premiership prediction competition for next weekend....nice and simple though so its easy to administer.

0 points if incorrect result (you say 2-1, finishes 1-2)
1 point if correct result (you say 2-1, finishes 1-0)
3 points if correct score (you say 2-1, finishes 2-1).

Simple.

Any questions, let's get them out of the way before next weekend. As I said it would be possible to add more scoing etc but I would like to keep it pretty straightforward so that updates don't take too long.

I think we'll just stick to the weekend matches for the mo (will have to include the Monday night game if on) and if wanted we will start to include the midweek stuff at a later date.

Right, fixtures for this weekend: -

Blackburn v Hull, 15:00
Fulham v Arsenal, 17:30
Liverpool v Middlesbrough, 15:00
Newcastle v Bolton, 15:00
Stoke v Aston Villa, 15:00

The standings after week one: -

6pts Vital (got Newc-Bolton spot on, plus 3 correct results)
5pts Strong (got Ports-Man Utd spot on, plus 2 correct results)
4pts Triptych (got 4 correct results)
3pts JRParky, Vital (got 3 correct results)

Not the strongest of starts, but it was a tough weekend with some strange results to say the least!!
