I helped a friend of mine take ownership of this horse when he finally retired from Paul Nicholls. He has been a great success and has smoothly transisted into an excellent hunter in Gloucestershire and he even does the odd cross country race and horse show. He is an excellent horse with great manners.

He was somewhat rudely named "Fencemover" during his career because of his propensity to completely destroy a fence. Jumping walls in Gloucestershire has solved this although he still does miss the occasional hedge out!

He has been a star in retirement.

Great to hear he is doing so well.

Are you connected to HEROS in any way?  I notice you mention the farm on another thread.

HEROS secured dear old Ionian Spring after his retirement and I am in contact with a lady (another Elite member) at HEROS who keeps me informed as to how Onion is doing.  They also have Pentecost, formerly owned by my employers.
