By that i mean can mods edit the text of a topic created by another member (non-mod) ?

If so, does the edit show the time/date it was edited, ie as per when a member edits their own topic they've created?

hope that makes sense!

xshock naughty naughty IMO.  xshock

Not a big deal, but although this may be a privelege, i dont think its there to be abused.

By that i mean, if someone starts a topic and doesn't have anything untoward in it, then its like someone going through the authors 'piggy bank', if a mod adds a piece of text or edits a piece of text (especially if there is no edit time/date/name shown, to see who did what and when).

nb I do have an example, again the example is no real deal, it's the principal that i am on about!

???  xshock

r&w-is it the football thread where i added the comments that woodgate and king were going to play.i thought it would be better to add it to your comments

i appologise if that was the wrong way to do it and i wont do it again

appologies to all members if they feel i abused my mod rights, was done with good intentions but can see why people could take offence
